Teuthill Farm has been in the Jackson Family for 5 generations. The farm shop was opened some 40 years ago by Gillian Jackson and sold potatoes, eggs and milk produced on the farm. It became clear that there was a demand for fresh local produce and the range of goods sold was gradually increased over the years.
Paul and his wife, Wendy currently live at the farm and they have been living here since 1999. They have two children, Lucy and Steven, who are still at school. Last but not least are the pets, Tamba the cat and Bonnie the dog.
The farm had a dairy herd up until 1999, when unfortunately we decided that we could no longer continue milking. It was a difficult decision to make as milking and looking after cows was a major part of our lives. Potatoes have also been grown on the farm for over 40 years and we are locally famous for our 'early new potatoes'.

produce - much of it local.
In addition to the products sold in the shop we also supply local restaurants and bakeries with prepared vegetables, salad items and fruit. Full details of our full range can be found in the wholesale page on the web site. We offer very competitive prices for excellent hand prepared potatoes and any other vegetable you could name. They are then delivered immediately so they arrive with you the customer as fresh as possible. It is not unusual for potatoes to be dug, prepared and delivered in the same day. You can't beat that for freshness.
Whether you are shopping for a special dinner party or just doing the regular week's shopping give us a try and you will be pleasantly surprised with the quality and range of produce available. We can accomodate large orders and can even rustle up a special desert for your favourite guests when entertaining. Profiteroles and pavlova are two of our specialities.
